In my presentation, “Law of War in Space,” we explored existing space law and the Law of War, including topics like combatant classification and core principles, and how they can intersect or even conflict.
We also examined near-peer competitor capabilities, dual-use satellites, and the role of commercial space actors in modern conflict. The students wrapped up by tackling role-based hypotheticals that sparked some sharp debate.
